Oh hello!

My name is Emmy! I am an illustrator who has a love for creating art that evokes cozy wonder, joy and adventure! I graduated from Pacific Northwest College of Art, and am based on the outskirts of Portland, OR. I enjoy using bright colors in my work to feature endearing characters and whimsical environments. In my spare time you can find me daydreaming about sweet treats and doodling cats! I also create hand painted and beaded jewelry which I sell both online and through a few small businesses.

My art has a strong focus on storytelling, often inspired by the beauty of nature and childhood memories. I have been passionate about picture books ever since I was little and have always dreamed of writing and illustrating them! I have done so during my time in school and am keen on entering the publishing world.

I have collaborated with clients such as Honest History Magazine and Blanchet House through PNCA’s Center for Design.
